A licensed master barber and cosmetologist since the mid 90’s, our founder spent over 30 years helping people with their most stubborn skin and hair concerns. When the pandemic brought the loss of his mother — and a severe eczema breakout driven by the weight of it all — he sought professional help. The dermatologist he visited had little understanding of melanated skin and even fewer answers. That appointment changed everything.

He turned to the extensive collection of natural remedy books his mother left behind, combined that knowledge with a lifetime of professional expertise, and started formulating his own solutions — for less than $100.
